Abstract

The main focus of this study is to examine the impact of strategic planning on Strategic Social Responsibility and non-financial performance in SMEs of the southern state of Quintana Roo. The data were obtained from a survey which was applied to 348 companies of different commercial activities. The information was analyzed through the method of structural equation model (SEM). The aim of the study was to analyze the relationships between the various dimensions of Corporate Social Responsibility and Non-Financial Performance, as well as the impact of strategic planning on those dimensions. The results of the study indicate that when the ethical and employee dimensions are associated with the strategic planning group, they show a positive and significant correlation in both types of companies - those that apply and those that do not apply strategic planning.
