Abstract

An empirical study is presented on the relationship existing between the personnel management skills of the supervisors in a firm and the quality of the internal services afforded by the units under their supervision. The empirical evidence found in the study supports the hypothesis that personnel management abilities constitute a determinant of internal services quality. An analysis is also performed aiming at defining which personnel management abilities have a higher predictive capacity in connection with internal service quality.
